Advance enjoys the reputation as paragliding’s Rolls Royce. All gliders are the result of a 3 year development cycle which allows total refinement of performance, handling and safety. Advance construct the gliders from the best Porcher Marine Skytex nylon throughout and the best Liros lines. Heavy duty cross stitching, extra Mylar tapes at leading and trailing edges give unmatched durability and totally internal stitching is the industry standard.
Many Advance gliders are seen in use with over 500 hours on them. Wings Taiwan is proud to act as Advance’s sole importer and agent in Taiwan.

Available now, the Alpha4 offers more performance and agility than it’s predecessor to fill the gap between it and the Epsilon. The Alpha4 is more appealing to first-time buyers and is much more than a ’school glider’.

The BiBeta4 is similarly improved over the BiBeta3 while being even easier to launch and fly. This glider is the choice of commercial tandem pilots everywhere for it’s smooth and easy handling both in the air and on the ground.

The Omega7 is winning competitions all over the world and carrying pilots ever further. The new serial version flew a 248km FAI triangle during testing and continues the Omega dominance of the DHV2-3 sector going forward. The Omega8 is coming soon and the Omega7 is no longer produced. There are a very limited number of Omega7 gliders left but you need to contact me soon to get one.

The Sigma7 is to carrying on in the image of it’s predecessor, considered by many as the benchmark cross-country glider in it’s class. Sigma7 is already proving itself in the serial class in competition.

The latest Epsilon6 is now in production gliders and the first gliders are available to pilots.

Alpha 4 (DHV 1)

Don’t let the DHV 1 certification fool you, this is a real glider, not just a school model. Performance is at Epsilon3 levels with agility to match. The Alpha4 carves turns like the best 1-2s.

Advance introduces v-ribs and reduced lineset tech to this entry-level glider and the result is a machine with easy intermediate feel combined with ultimate passive safety. Available now in 4 sizes.

Epsilon 6 (EN/LTF 1-2)

The Epsilon6 is already proving popular and initial sales are very good.

Epsilon6

Epsilon6

The new Epsilon6 continues the tradition in providing a harmonized and well-balanced glider, tuned exactly to the needs of the thermaling pilot.
The Epsilon6 speed system has an adjustable ratio change so that the length of the speed bar travel and its loading can be set to suit the pilot’s leg length and leg position. In addition, the Speed Performance Indicator (SPI) always shows the selected speed bar setting against an ideal position. The new model also features split A risers with magnetic snaps for easy ground handling. The Epsilon is a great wing for long thermal sessions and, thanks to the good performance, for long XC flights as well. It’s reassuring predictability and obvious passive safety will impress you from takeoff to landing.
The Epsilon6 is produced in 4 sizes, covering a take off weight from 60 to 130 kg, and in six unique color schemes. A special Hybrid riser set is available to make the glider easy to adapt to motorized flight.

Sigma 7 (EN/LTF 2)

The Sigma6 had sold in such volume that the factory had a hard time keeping up with the demand for gliders.
The new Sigma7 benefits from slightly increased aspect ratio and further reductions in line consumption as well as a new hi-arc form first seen in the Omega7. Top speed and glide are again improved and glide at high speed is very impressive indeed. The new model turns noticeably flatter than the Sigma6, which shows it’s bias toward crosscountry flying.

Omega 7 (DHV 2-3)

The serial glider is certified DHV 2-3 in sizes 26, 28 and 30 and is dominating skies the world over. Thomas Ripplinger and his team exploited the high arc concept seen in the the competition gliders while creating a glider accessible to the usual Omega pilot’s profile. In other words, the glider is based deeply in the technology of the competition prototypes but it is still possible for experienced cross-country pilots to make use of that performance.

The flat aspect ratio is increased to 6.3:1 and the higher anhedral curve is quite pronounced. Performance figures are a top speed of around 58km/h and a maximum glide of 10:1. In keeping with Advance’s recent policy, that glide number is dependent on the total aero package chosen, so expect to see that kind of glide only with a full race harness. A serial glider with 10:1 performance is of course a milestone.

BiBeta4 (EN C/LTF 1-2)

The BiBeta4 is available in 2 sizes, 38 and 42qm offering capacities of 115~195kg and 135~225kg respectively. No more agonizing over whether you can take that 45kg hottie up with you, or fighting with a glider that’s too big.
The BiBeta3 has even easier launch, flight and landing traits that the 3 (which is saying a lot) and slightly better performance. New features are a big ears system which allows the ears to stay closed without assistance and the SmartSail construction which extends glider life by using sturdier materials where wear is heavier and lighter materials in less wear-prone areas. Pilots have the choice between hard and soft brake handles and spreaders.
The new model is available in 4 color schemes and comes complete with 200 liter backpack.

Advance harnesses

This year’s harnesses are the perfect complement to your Advance glider.

Due to concerns with aluminum carabiners in recent years, Advance harness now ship exclusively with ‘Powerfly’ stainless items.

The new Impress2 competition harness. Features a removeable aero leg cover and a longer ‘tail’ for reduced drag. This model was developed with Chigrel Maurer and features a traditional H-brace system and a dorsal reserve pocket. The new harness is available now and in three sizes, S, M and L

The Success 2+ is a superb new all-round harness. For increased passive safety it has a thicker (18cm), LTF-certified foam back protector than it’s predecessor. The Success 2+ has a new variable-volume reserve pocket which can fit any size of rescue parachute perfectly. It has a high range of adjustability and a forget-me-not buckle/strap on the chest strap.
